Also, just for fun and as a little trivia, for those who care or are interested, here’s a listing of past, substitute and present members.

 

The band has had the same lineup since January 1, 2000, with Don, Eddy, Steve & Rick.

 

Winter of 1991 – Conception and rehearsals with:

            Rick Lee – keys & vocals – Sugarcreek

            Steve Long – bass, guitar & vocals – Stratus, Circus, Vandals

            Lee Kelley – drums – left in 1994 for Nashville  spent 4 years w/Gary Allen &

                                    currently with Mark Chestnut

Chris Jennings – guitar & vocal – formerly with Sidewinder – left

TMS in he summer of 1991 – played w/Billy Scott & The Profits and   now he’s with The Fantastic Shakers

Tim Clark – vocals – formerly w/Sugarcreek – left in March of 1991 before our first gig (thanks Tim!) – MC @ Dixie Stampede and currently has his own band appropriately called “The Tim Clark Band”!

 

           

Gray Peck – Audio Tech – Sugarcreek - - passed away in May of 1991

                                    We couldn’t, so we didn’t, replace Gray and think of him

                                    everyday!  We love you brother.

 

Late summer of 1991 –

Eddy Howie – bass & vocals -  joins the band when Chris leaves – Formerly w/Sugarcreek & The Fantastic Shakers

 

Summer 1994

            Lynn Samples – drums – replaces Lee Kelly – Formerly w/Sugarcreek

            Currently retired from playing drums except for an occasional

            Sugarcreek Reunion

 

January 1, 2000

            Don Leonard – drums – joins the band – past groups include Captain

            Cook & The Coconuts, The Poor Souls and The Outlaws
